Work Time: Winter 2004- Summer 2009
Engine: Game Maker 7
Description: The Lord of the Smash is a long running fan game that I had been working on where you take Lord of the Rings and make them fight in Super Smash Brothers Style. I learned most of my 2D gaming skills by working on this project. It was probably overly ambitious when I started and the engine was recoded many, many times. Maybe one day I will come back to it with a whole new art scheme and better combat. For now it is sitting decrepit as a starting point for all my recent work. (Although it is still fun and playable!)
